This course provides an introduction to a variety of tools that can support teachers not only in their classroom, but also in their own professional development.
It does not pretend to be a final document in regards to Information and Communication Technologies, since this is a field that changes practically every day, but it aims to provide educators with basic information about several tools than can be easily implemented in the classroom, as well as basic information about networks that can be of support for educators around the world.
It starts with the concept and creation of every teacher´s Personal Learning Network, and then we analyze web-based tools such as: Mind mapping; Blog; Wiki; Videochat; Microblog; Podcast and Webcast and Webquest.
The contents from this course have been retrieved from Open Educational Resources repositories, and all of the lessons have been licensed under Creative Commons attibution licenses, as well as this final product.
